Songs that are sung in our Preschool and Kindergarten classes.

Each day we sing during class time and once a week at group sing.  From experience, we know that the words of the songs are often "modified" between the classroom and home.  To help you understand what we are singing, we shall periodically give you the words to the songs.

Light A Candle For Peace

Light a candle for peace

Light a candle for love

Light a candle that shines all away around the world

Light a candle for me

Light a candle for you

That our wish for world peace

Will one day come true

Light a candle for peace

Light a candle for love

Light a candle that shines all away around the world

Light a candle for me

Light a candle for you

That our wish for world peace

Will one day come true

Sing peace around the world

Sing peace around the world

Sing peace around the world

Sing peace around the world

The Hand Washing Song

Before I eat snack I'll wash my hands

Yes dear friends I'll wash my hands

Before I eat my lunch I'll wash my hands

Yes I'll wash my hands

When I use the bathroom I'll wash my hands

Yes dear friends I'll wash my hands

Even when I sneeze or blow my nose

Yes I'll wash my hands

No fingers in my mouth or even my nose

Yes dear friends I'll wash my hands

Using soap and water I'll wash my hands

Yes I'll wash my hands

Five Little Bunnies

5 little bunnies in the bakery shop

You know the kind with the sugar and the honey on top

Along came a boy with a penny to pay

He took this little bunny and he ran away.

4 little bunnies...

3 little bunnies...

2 little bunnies...

1 little bunnies...

No little bunnies in the bakery shop

You know the kind with the sugar and the honey on top

Along came a boy with a penny to pay

He said "woops, no more bunnies today".

Five Red Apples

Up on the tree there were 5 red apples,

five red apples, all ripe and red.

One fell down and bopped me on the head,

so there were four red apples on the tree instead.

(Repeat with four, three, two and one)

I've got a hunch it's time for lunch

crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch!
