The Albrook School was founded in 1979 by Anita Albers and Carol Ann Brooks as a Montessori Pre-school. Originally housed in the basement of St. Mark's Church in Basking Ridge, the school served 42 children. Enrollment blossomed and in 1987, The Albrook School moved to its present 6 1/2 acre site on Somerville Road in Basking Ridge. Today, The Albrook School serves approximately 300 children, two through twelve years of age through its pre-school and elementary programs. An optional eight week summer camp completes the year.
